MAKE'OVER

Hi....... to my long lost blog fans'' I will be making a much needed come back this fall. My life is getting a makeover in a brand new place! The country to be exact; which in my opinion is no place for the fashion obsessed,unless it Atlanta or Miami. In all I'm am truly excited, I thrive and live on new experiences after all i am a Sagittarius. WHAT IS BEAUTY?

People who read my blog know that this is manly a blog about my teenage life, as well as my take on fashion! but the people who read my blog also know that , i have my political opinions as well as my take on society! I was reading a political blog and happened to stumble upon this VERY controversial BLOG and yes it got me to thinking about my very own topic, asking what defines beauty? Many of the blog readers commented about race and color and how a skin complexion defines a person's beauty! What i failed to understand is the absurdity of this concept, I really could not understand how a person could only have interest in someone, or not have any interest in a person by the shade of their complexion! I am a very dark African American female and their was a time in my young life were i disliked my own skin, because of what people thought about darker African or black females! Alot of times I would have male relatives or boys in general of the same race say they didn't find many darker girls attractive!or even there were times when guys would say, Jay you are very beautiful for a darker girl! My take on skin preference is that people have the right to feel a certain way or even have a certain opinion, but when your opinion because degrading and targets a whole group of completely individuals you have started conflict! I personally find all woman and men of all skin complexions to be beautiful! I can not say that all people find color or skin an issue, because that would be unfair of me! There are a numbered of individuals like myself who have been taught to expand OUR horizon. Beauty is Beauty besides of complexion or race, I really wish people would stop spending so much time being closed minded and judgemental! and start to be more open minded, and except that people are different!we are all beautiful!

THE RICH KIDS ARE BACK.....

So i'm sitting in the airport, and out of all the confusion and the crowd of crazed travelers. I began to think about my BLOG AND MY BLOG READERS, And the truth is I miss you guys!( I know sooo mushy) but I love blogging and for me its more than just a FASHION BLOG ITS A LIFESTYLE" So anyways I am coming to you live from the Fort Lauderdale Airport! ( YES, I am sitting in an airport surrounded by people blogging- crazed) Earlier today I bought the new issue of my favorite Fashion magazine Nylon, and it just happened to be the very first TV isuue> The covered featured the new stars of 90210! haute I'm aware* The the cover is simply amazing, I mean everything about this cover is exciting! I'm a big fan of the hair,makeup, and clothes of course: The cover stars happen to be Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne MCcord, and Jessica Stroup, and these girls are gorgeous! I found the issue to be very interesting as a whole. I mean It discussed all of our new fav. shows like Gossip Girl, and Mad Men. Also all of our returning favs. like Lost, Ugly Betty and Heroes! but it also highlighted the new shows every body will be talking about like 90210- Which Annalynne describes as, very provocative, very racy, very sexy! and new shows like Dollhouse, Kings, and Harpor's Island. With so many new fashionable TV shows, I'm sure to never leave the coach, don't be surprised when I've put on 10 or 15 pounds! just joking this is all for now: and get the September issue of Nylon, you won't be disappointed.

Fare -Well/For Now

I'm not feeling to much inspiration from blogging at the moment! nothing seems to be going right with my life right now. I have nothing to show to entertain and inspire my readers. PS. I am NOT quitting this blog,I will return and be better than ever! please don't give up on me, I'll be back in due time~
